Discover American Craft at Eureka! in Irvine

Eureka! in Irvine invited my entire family to enjoy dinner with them recently. This highlights our thoughts and experiences, and all opinions are my own and not influenced in anyway.

Eureka Irvine

Eureka! opened its second Orange County location on Monday, October 13, 2014, in Irvine at University Center. If you haven’t heard about or experienced it, it is a small chain of restaurants, mostly in California, that specialized in American cuisine complemented by a carefully curated beverage program featuring 100% American craft beer, small batch whiskey, in-house aging barrels, and specialty cocktails sourced from artisans throughout America.

Eureka Irvine Board

While each location is slightly different from the next, there are recurring themes seen in all of them; Great food and drinks with handmade and quality locally sourced ingredients, seasonal offerings, and sense of community and socializing.

Eureka Irvine Lights

The design of Eureka! Irvine is modern yet industrial with a Zen influence. The main dining room is lit by 32 pendant-hanging lights, with the help of great natural lighting during the day. The al fresco garden patio features fresh herbs and citrus fruits (including a Eureka lemon tree) to be used throughout the extensive bar program, and features a mesmerizing 22-foot infinity pool fountain lit by firestones. The restaurant offers a very social atmosphere with hand-selected music, televised sports and unique weekly events such as Steal the Glass, live music featuring the singer songwriter of the week, and seasonal drink specials.

Eureka Irvine Cocktail

The Moscow Mule is one of many signature cocktails offered at Eureka! Irvine. All of the cocktails are made with handcrafted bitters and simple syrups as well as fresh fruits and herbs.

Eureka Irvine Beers

Eureka Irvine Bar

Eureka! also features 40 specialty craft beers, two wines on tap, and a selection of 40-45 small batch American whiskeys.

Eureka Irvine Braised Riblets

Eureka Irvine Truffle Fries

The appetizers at Eureka! Irvine are a great way to start out your meal! The Osso Bucco Riblets are a tender and spicy alternative to a classic bar food like buffalo wings, and the Truffle Cheese Fries are full of flavor. Other great starters include Steamers, Shishito Peppers, Nacho Average Nachos, and Seasonal Pacific White Fish Tacos. A popular choice on the appetizer menu are the Lollipop Corn Dogs, featuring Polish sausage in a sweet corn batter, and served with spicy porter mustard, homemade ketchup, and ranch.

Eureka Irvine Kids Menu

Eureka Irvine Kids Appetizer

Eureka Irvine Kids Burger

Eureka! Irvine is great for families as well. Their kids’ menu offers great quality items for the littlest foodies. Children get their own complimentary appetizer plate with fresh watermelon and avocado. Their kid-friendly entrees are just as carefully crafted and great-tasting as their adult counterparts.

Eureka Irvine Bison Burger
Eureka Irvine Bone Marrow Burger

Eureka! offers many great entree choices, but they excel in burgers. From simple creations like the Original Eureka! Burger to more complex ones like the Catalina Bison Burger or the Bone Marrow Burger, each one is carefully put together and cooked to perfection.

Eureka Irvine Dessert

Eureka Irvine Root Beer Float

And of course there’s the decadent desserts. Whether you opt for the amazingly rich Chocolate Espresso Soufflé Coffee Cup Cake 0r Butterscotch Rum Pudding, or something a little lighter like the Rootbeer Float, your sweet tooth is sure to be satisfied.

Eureka! Irvine is open 11:00 AM to Midnight,  Monday through Saturday, and  10:00 AM to Midnight on Sunday, and is located at 4143 Campus Dr., Irvine, CA 92612. For more info, go to http://www.eurekarestaurantgroup.com/ or check out Eureka! Irvine on Facebook or Twitter!
