Sabroso Fest Returns to Dana Point for 6th Year

Sabroso Craft Beer, Taco & Music Festival returns to Dana Point for its 6th year, this time with double the fun! After selling out two years in a row, the festival will now take place over two full days – Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7 – at its same location at the beautiful Doheny State Beach.

The two day music festival, powered by Gringo Bandito hot sauce, will also bring craft beer, mouthwatering tacos from all around Southern California, and exciting live entertainment to the oceanfront locale.

Headliners for Sabroso Fest include some of the most influential rock and punk bands to ever come out of SoCal including The Offspring, Bad Religion, Flogging Molly, The Descendents, Black Flag, Face to Face, Lagwagon and more! On top of this amazing lineup, attendees can also enjoy watching Lucha Libre style wrestling stars from across the globe battle for the title of Sabroso Champion.

And of course, what would a festival be without some of the region’s best craft beer selections. Attendees who are 21 and over will be able to taste unlimited samples of 200 different craft beers from 50 fan-favorite breweries including Avery Brewing, Artifex Brewing, Brooklyn Brewery, Burning Beard Brewing, MadeWest Brewing, Russian River Brewing, The Shop Beer, 805 and more! Complimentary craft beer tastings last until 4 p.m.

Guests will also be able to treat themselves to delicious tacos from renowned Southern California vendors including Panchos Tacos, Border Tacos, Good Fellas Tacos, Vegan Taco Company, Spicy Bite, Chronic Tacos, Sol Agave and more. The event’s taco vendors will also have the opportunity to compete for the coveted “Best in Show” with their most unique creations, voted on by esteemed judges.

World-champion competitive eater Takeru Kobayashi of Nagano, Japan will return to Sabroso on Sunday, April 7th to defend his 2018 Gringo Bandito Chronic Tacos Eating Champion title in the 9th Annual Gringo Bandito Chronic Tacos Challenge. Last year, Kobayashi devoured 154 tacos in 10 minutes to win the title, just shy of his record-breaking 2017 win of 159 tacos in the same time frame.

Single Day tickets for Sabroso Craft Beer, Taco & Music Festival start at $59.50 (plus fees), and Weekend tickets start at $89.50 (plus fees), while supplies last. Fat Mike’s Punk in Drublic Craft Beer & Music Festival is making its way to SoCal on October 28th, and bringing the best in craft beer, food, and live music to Huntington Beach! The SoCal portion of the series, dubbed Punk ‘N Brew, offers craft beer enthusiasts the opportunity to enjoy quality craft beer from over 100 brews, gourmet food trucks and restaurant vendors, with performances from NOFX, Bad Religion, Goldfinger, Strung Out, Guttermouth, Ignite, The Dickies, D.I., and more.

It’s Not Dead is Coming to San Manuel Amphitheater!

Excitement and anticipation are boiling over for It’s Not Dead, the inaugural punk rock festival from co-founders Kevin Lyman, John Reese and Live Nation’s Rich Best, which takes over San Bernardino’s San Manuel Amphitheater on Saturday October 10.

All tickets are general admission and available on the festival website for $42.50, with general parking included. Kids 10 and under are free. Prices do not include ticket service fee. Tent camping is available at the adjacent Glen Helen campground.

In addition to 3 stages, jam-packed with 35 punk and ska greats such as Bad Religion, Pennywise, Descendents, NOFX and many more, the festival will feature a Vans Old-Skool Jam, with demos by legendary skaters such as Mike Frazier, Steve Caballero, Christian Hosoi, Omar Hassan and Neal Hendrix, along with pros Lizzie Armanto, Alex Perelson, Josh Borden and BMX rider Dennis McCoy.

Additionally, the festival will host a pop-up art exhibition titled, ‘Art’s Not Dead’ and a ‘Punks Well Read’ book signing area, both curated by renowned punk rock photographer Lisa Johnson.

The art show will exhibit and sell works from many of the underground scene’s most acclaimed artists and photographers like Mark deSalvo, Dave Naz, Natalia Fabia, Lisa Johnson, B.J. Papas, Greg Attonito, Chris Shary, Craig “Skibs” Barker, Jeff Alulis, Jason Cardwell and many others.

The book signings, hosted by official festival bookseller Stories Books & Cafe out of Echo Park, will highlight such celebrated punk rock authors as Jeff Alulis, Jack Grisham, Cecil Castellucci, Shawna Kenney, Jim Lindberg, David Nazworthy, Christian Picciolini, John Roecker with Dylan Melody, Oriana Small and Shanti Wintergate & Greg Attonito (Playdate).
